No, I think sending it to your friends is a bit too much. But I might take a picture and upload it to the various social sites. I just don't think my friends want to be bothered every time I think I look good.

you can go to the grocers or maybe even the beauty supply store and buy a magazine specifically about hairdos. if you go on the net, search those movie star web sites and youd be surpirsed that someone you admire already has that do!

How do I 'tone' my bleached hair?

Toner is a product you use after bleaching, to help even out and soften the hair colour. It's normally a purple-blue-ish colour (but you can get other bases). Leave in for 10-15 mins and rinse.

To keep your hair healthy, I'd recommend using a treatment on a regular basis (twice a week? instead of conditioner).

OK, so I just looked at the pic.... maybe use treatment instead of conditioner every day for two weeks. Hopefully this will help - that's what the hairdressers told me to do last time I bleached out my hair and dyed it bright red.

when you put a toner on your hair it's just color so therefore it won't be bleach platnium blonde. yes........ your hair is pretty fried and unhealthy looking that's all bleach is good for is damaging hair. i think you need to not bleach your hair and go for your natural hair color and just add some highlights to it. looks way better and less damaging to your hair.

bleaching your hair you'll have to do touch-ups every 2 weeks with the regrowth which is very unattractive.

try to go natural which will look better with your dark eyes and eyebrows. please lose the fake eye lashes. they look so obvious on you good luck.

bleached hair doesn't mean unhealthy hair. i have been bleaching my hair for a long time, and my hair is very healthy; it's shiny, bouncy, and grows more than the average 1/2 inch per month. being a licensed cosmetologist, i do take very good care of my hair. proper use of shampoos and conditioners are a must. bleached hair needs tlc; extra moisture and added protein is a good idea, even for finer hair. i switch off between matrix blonde shampoo, regis silver shine shampoo (a purple shampoo meant to ward off the brassiness), and regis vivid satin shampoo, and the only rinse out conditioner i use on a regular basis is regis vivid satin. i use a leave in every day though, switching off between biolage hydraseal (moisture) and redken antisnap (protein). defintely use thermal protectants when you style your hair and a good deep conditioner (i recommend heavy cream by redken) is a good idea once or twice a week. as for toning, you don't need it. your hair isn't brassy, and that is what toning is for. i never tone my hair; bleaching is enough.

If he/she is doing it himself, don't just go buy a box of color. They will end up with orange hair. You have to go to a beauty supply store and buy the proper color lifting supplies and it may take 3 or 4 times to bleach it out. Then you can add color. Be sure to really condition after that, your hair will feel like straw.

I think you don't need to change your hair color. You look good with that color. And the length of your hair is just right. It compliments the shape of your face.

how about you do a really dark brown underneath, keep the top a lighter brown and put in some red and blonde hi and low lights. you can even work a few strands of the dark in on top to add more dimension.

It looks beautiful the way it is, is that natural highlights? If you are going to dye it a different color I suggest a subtle color. Maybe a light auburn would be best for you. I wouldn't suggest dying it lighter ... Good luck!

what you need is more make-up if you want to go blonde you need to tan a little big for contrast and MAKE SURE if you are blonde you dress your best and always have a great face on. You are really pretty really pretty and have a nice shaped face and you look skinny. Blonde is nice if you want to spend a lot of time on yourself. Most people don't have the time to be doing that so I would suggest going with a brunette look which goes better with anything. Dark may also look nice on you, but that is kind of like the blonde. Your beautiful!

I prefer the blond highlights. It just adds that extra wow factor!

Also, go with the fringe. Your hair pulled back is not a good style for you. I think you need some layers around your face.

Hey! I just did this for myself!! Its tough having the same boring hair.. Without knowing your personality though its tough to make a suggestion.. I went to a salon and asked for the stylist's suggestion with a few pictures of what I was looking for.. my cut came out fine, but I wish I had really known what I wanted before getting it done.

I went to a few sites for makeover suggestions (I just turned 30 and wanted something that wasn't "old" looking) Try the sites with a free picture download.. they have limited hairstyles with just the free membership, but at least you can see your face (or a model with the same face shape) with something similar..

i have extremely thick brown hair that is about 5-7 inches below my shoulder. i want to be able to get that total look with it looking like that, not looking like a thick mass of hair! with thick hair it tends to poof out toward the ends and i think that cut will control it so it lays flatter and actually is thinner at the bottom.

Absolutely - there are a few tricks to get extremely thick hair to get some movement. One - called slithering - is done my taking open shears and moving down the length to thin it a bit to allow it to move.

Go to you're hair cutter with this picture, ask them to thin some hair out (they call it making it "lighter"), then ask for a blunt cut. (layers just add volume)

Once you get the blunt cut, ask them to flat iron it.

if you get your hair layered, which she has in the pic, then it will feel lighter whether its cut like hers or not.

i dont see any problems with you getting your hair cut like this, however if your hair isnt as straight as hers, which hers could have been straightened before the pics, it will be alot of work.

if you are gunna need to straighten your hair every couple of days (to get rid of the 'poof') your gunna end up needing either a treatment for afterwards or a protective gel so your hair doesnt dry out too much and look ugly.

just as an fyi, straightening can damage your hair, and can be quite a timely activity depending on length and thickness.

It will not look like that exactly unless you put major work into it. If you do cut your hair like that I say try thinning your hair out and getting a hair straightener. I also have thick and at times unruly hair and it's a pain keeping it in check so really think about how much time you're willing to put into it everyday.

Try getting short layers cut on top and hair spraying with your head tipped upside-down, then spike up the layers on top. Also try having a swept fringe cut in thats sweeps right across your forhead. Try wearing bright coloured clips and headbands too, such as button or bow clips. a bit like this ...

Bleach the parts of your hair you want to be colored and dye over it with neon dyes from places like Hot Topic.

For the cut, go to a hair salon and ask for very choppy layers all over and also ask for it to be razored thin at the ends.

OK you need to thin your hair alot but it is more then that, you look like you have wave, so you will need to blow dry your hair with a paddle brush put some product in, then flat iron it then more product. Word of advice make sure you go to a deccent hair dresser for this cut!

Honestly I'm not exactly sure wha you mean by choppy. If most of the pictures that are on the site you gave are considered choppy and layered then I would go with that. I think you do need to thin it out a little or find a better way to straighten it. In the back it looks very wavy still, unless that's the look you want. Your a cute kid! I'm sure if you go to the same hairstylist you usually see they can give you the look that's best for you.

okay, my advice, get it thinned out a lot, get shorter in back, and a big triangle bang in front. then use a shine serum, the one i use is Silk Elements Glossing Polish, it makes your hair shiny and more flat. just get choppy layers in the back.My friends call me emo, idk exactly what i am, but i am getting ready to do something strange with my hair, i want a very punk cut, so thanks for all the pics !!! good luck !

You do have a lot of hair - so you probably want it thinned out. It's layered already, sooooooo, you're off to a start there.

Don't worry about dying it some other color - that's not an emo rule - and besides, you don't want to look like you're trying too hard, right?

Keep in mind, too -- the spirit of emo -- and you don't have to stress about your hair being perfect. That's the point. You can change your hairstyle (with product) every day if you want to - that's the freedom of an emo cut.

You'll need hair product, too -- not just the flatiron. You need something to smooth it out, make it glossy. There are a ton of products out there -- from John Frieda at the drugstore to your salon products and those at Sephora.

dark brown...i think the lighter colors wash you out. especially the blond. also your eyes and brows are dark. the dark will make your eyes pop and even your skin tone.

Bangs take over a year to grow back out. SO I would suggest you think twice about them. Your hair looks nice as it is.

You have such lovely hair, I wouldn't cut it.

If you're looking for a change of hair, try curling it. Don't straighten it and instead play with height. Tease it. Taunt it. Torture your locks until your want for change subsides.

Though, if you're like me and can't stand long hair, get a boy cut. It can be very flattering if done well. If you do go this route, make sure you go to a hair dresser that had experience cutting short hair. I have had many a bad haircut because I've gone to a lady who didn't know how to cut anything above the jawline.

Get red streaks throughout your hair. Maybe just a little trim, but your hair is a nice length so nothing to drastic, and get bangs.

since u have long and thin hair u have a lot of options unlike me lol

i think maybe u should get it cut in different lengths

and maybe get it layered

you could cut it shorter like take off a couple inches an get like side bangs not too short like round your cheek like area. an it look awesome if you like get layers too an dye it lik a dark brown colour.
