i'm going to a semi on saturday and i have no idea what to do with my hair or what to do for makeup. my dress is white with a gold empire waist. i have hair about five inches past my shoulders with sidebangs. i can pretty much do anything with it, and i have a straightener and a curling iron. so anything you suggest will probably be possible. makeup is my bigger concern though.

if you have a one-inch, or bigger, curling iron, you should curl your hair out and leave your bangs the way they are in the picture.

usually with makeup you're supposed to match with your skintone and face rather than your outfits, but in this case it'd match with both. you could use a black eyeliner for your top eyelids and start with a really light, pale brown towards the inside of your eyelids. then use a darker brown towards the outside and smudge so it blends nicely. a clear lip-gloss or nothing at all should be fine =]

(there's hair spray at bath and body works that has glitter inside. i use it for all my formal dances and it works great!)

i think you should have big, sorta loose curls and put it all to one side and keep your bangs down.

also that dress is sorta see through i can kinda see your undies (not in a dirty way) in the pic.. just letting you know.

wear light make up, natural, and put your hair in a french twist you dont wanna go overboard bc the dress is pretty

I would do loose waves. (think Greek goddess) As for the makeup, I would do dramatic red lips and subdued eyes. Just a brush of a shimmery gold eyeshadow and mascara.

Forget Sam and Lizz, your straight hair is georgous and goes perfectly with the dress. Try a soft pink lipgloss for your lips and a light powder white for your eyeshadow. Keep mascara flattering but not heavy. Finish it off with some gold jewelery with minimum gemstones upon necklace or accessories (except earrings.) In the later definately go with dangling white crystal or diamond earings (gold of coarse.) Finish it off with some gold braded high heels.

Well you could try for a kind of "greek goddess" look, aka really thin black eyeliner and light lip gloss, and curl your hair and let it loose in ringlets

or you could use gold/bronze eyeliner that would work too.

wow this is random but u look a lot like emma roberts! anywayyy, try some kinda messy curls, whatever u do don't try any sort of updo. makup wise go natural, coverup, a lot of mascara, a little brown eye liner, some rosy blush, and some simple pink lip gloss! gorgous dress!
